We draw the structural dieline for your box, place your artwork on the correct panels, and set up the render.

Two or three angles as high-resolution PNG/JPG — closed box, open box, and a detail of the finish. Plus the dieline file for free.

Happy with the look? We move straight to a physical sample, then production. Most projects go from mockup to sample in under a week.

  • Artwork — Illustrator (.AI), editable PDF or EPS. JPG/PNG screenshots aren't print-ready, but send them anyway if that's all you have.
  • Or just the basics — box type, internal dimensions (L × W × H), board and finish. We'll draw the structure for you.
  • Optional — Pantone numbers, a photo of a box you like, or the product that goes inside.

You get back

  • 2–3 photorealistic views — assembled box, open box, and a close-up of the print or finish, on a clean neutral background.
  • High-resolution PNG/JPG — web-ready for your site and social, and a print-resolution file for presentations.
  • The structural dieline — the same production template you'd need anyway, free with the mockup.
  • Notes on what won't print well — if we spot a colour, a hairline or a font that will cause trouble on press, we tell you before you commit.

FAQ

How long does a 3D box mockup take?
Within 1 working day for a single box (Shenzhen working days, GMT+8), even if your artwork needs a little cleaning up first. Complex projects — several SKUs, foil and emboss detail, or a full product range — take a little longer, and we'll tell you the timeline in our first reply.
Is the 3D mockup free?
Yes, for a single box per evaluation project — it's how we show you what we can do. Larger ranges and full SKU families are quoted, because each box has to be set up separately.
What do I need to send for a packaging mockup?
Ideal: your artwork as Illustrator, editable PDF or EPS. Good enough: internal dimensions (length × width × height), the box style and a logo. If you only have a rough idea, send that — we draw the structure as part of the service.
Will the render match the printed box exactly?
The shape, structure and layout will match. Colour on a screen never matches ink exactly, so treat the render as a design and structure preview, not a colour proof. For colour approval we send a physical sample and print to your Pantone numbers — see printing service.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. Files stay confidential, and we're happy to sign an NDA before you share designs. Just say so when you send the artwork, or ask and we'll send our standard NDA back.
Do I get the dieline file too?
Yes — the structural dieline we build for the mockup is yours, free. You can hand it to any printer, or use it as the starting point for your own artwork.
